String Orchestra Classes - Beginning & Advanced
Course Description
These classes are where students learn how to play the violin, viola, cello, or string bass. The first year, which is Beginning Orchestra, they were start on the instrument of their choice, and learn beginning technique on how to play the instrument they have chosen. Once they have a good grasp on how to hold and play their instrument, they will then be taught how to read music, aka music theory, and they will then learn pieces on their instrument. The second and third year classes will be Advanced Orchestra, where they will continue to improve upon their technique on their chosen instrument, as well as learn more music theory.
